Frida Treichel from FAU’s Chair of Strategic Management and Leadership took part in the 86th Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting through the new On-Demand Session format. The format offered a great way to stay engaged with the international research community and follow the latest discussions in the field, even without being on-site.
As part of the program, Frida Treichel presented a talk on the paper “CEO Regulatory Focus and Organizational Learning from Crises: A Configurational Perspective,” co-authored with Prof. Dr. Dr. Lorenz Graf-Vlachy and Dr. Linda Schaedler. The On-Demand format made it possible to receive thoughtful feedback from viewers, while also making it easy to explore a wide range of other sessions flexibly and at one’s own pace.
While the On-Demand experience couldn’t quite replicate the networking experience of being there in person, it turned out to be a rewarding way to stay connected with the scholarly community from afar. The Chair of Strategic Management and Leadership is already looking forward to the next AOM Annual Meeting.
